Moving Through Time - At the Discovery of Disappearance

This work started in 2003 and was achieved in 2005. It consists of the following 3 works:
“Retrouvailles - Appearances - Absences”.

 

  • The photographs of the series Absences on the other hand are showing the reality of a disappearance. By hanging of the photographs and paintings in the grand-parents house, Véronique Kolber is getting aware of the traces that time has left on those walls. The absence of the pictures is making time visible and is leading to a discovery: the discovery of disappearance.
